This record is placed under the home page because the newspapers in Worland have recorded vital statistics not only in Worland, but surrounding towns as well.

The original vital records index, was hand typed by Allena Austin, a Worland native.  She spent over 10 years reading from the original newspapers, and indexing the information on births, death, marriages, and obituaries.  Her work includes thousands of pages.  Paper copies of the record are available around the state in various libraries and Family History Centers.  It is also available on microfilm.

Publishing this effort on the web requires re-typing the data into a database.  It will be added in segments over time to this site.
